My love for photography began at a very early age. My twin sister has always been my model, and she still is today! I used to take my aunt’s camera and photograph our cows or capture landscape shots. In 2019, a senior in my hometown asked me to take her senior pictures. I was shocked and nervous but said yes because I never back down from a challenge. It ended up being the best night ever. Now, five years later, I am still doing what I love most. As a farm girl born and raised in Nebraska, I always have a camera in my hand. I am dedicated to advocating for agriculture through the art of photography, telling a story with each photograph taken in vibrant detail.

I am probably holding my man’s hand, Jayden, or playing with our pups, Daisy and Dex. During the day, I edit photos at home while also helping out on the farm when needed. At night, I capture amazing memories at photo sessions and finish the evening watching the sunset on our porch swing with Jayden and the pups, soaking in all of God’s beauty. As adulthood hit me, I realized how important it is to find God in all that we do. During hard times, He guides us through, and when things are amazing, we know God created them. This is why Sundays have become my favorite day of the week. I go to church to praise God, come home to do chores, and end the day with a family dinner with either Jay’s family or my family.

During the summer, I spend my free weekends at the lake with family. In the fall, I am either watching football with my family, working in the grain cart, or at photo sessions. When winter comes, I spend most of my time taking courses and learning new things to improve my business. Spring is my favorite time of the year; you can find me planting flowers, hanging with family and friends, and, of course, preparing for the busy season to start back up. All year round, I love meeting new clients who often turn into friends! Each season looks different for everyone, and I’m so happy you know a little bit about my life in each one!

when there is not a camera in my hand...

Bojo Studio was inspired by my middle name “Jo” and my love for free-spirited boho style. The definition for boho means to me that you are living a lifestyle that is unique and authentic to you. I carry this whimsical approach into all my creative work and it makes shoots so easy-going and fun for my clients. I live coloring outside the lines and always seeing the brighter side of things!
